Role Profile 

Working as part of a cohesive team, with the Homes business, while also working closely with the Commercial and Regional Operations Managers in representing the Groups interests.

The role will report directly to the Head of PRS and New Contracts and offers exposure to range of large, complex operational contracts and the opportunity to work alongside a number of key business functions.

This is a very hands-on and autonomous role with the ability to develop to a new position for the Homes business.

Suitable for a candidate with 3-5 years of operational contract mobilisation and operational experience, looking to develop their expertise and career in the Housing and Property Management field.

 

Skills Required

  • Demonstrable experience of property management fundamentals 
  • Good commercial awareness and understanding of contract management and service delivery 
  • Relevant experience mobilising new operational contracts
  • Project management experience from inception/planning, through to completion and handover 
  • Management of service commencement processes 
  • Experience and understanding of property management operations to ensure a smooth mobilisation and carry on early, post-mobilisation transition
  • Superb with deadlines

  • Professionalism and cordiality 
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills 
  • Capacity to be influential and amenable
  • Able to work autonomously in a national role 
  • Experienced and competent user of Microsoft Office 365 –especially Excel, Word, Teams etc.

Role 

  • Leading on the co-ordination and implementation of supply of equipment, subcontractors engagement, TUPE and processes
  • Working closely with the Heads of Service and Commercial Manager to ensure all key project deliverables are in place for service commencement
  • Leading new contract mobilisations, feeding in to client discussions setting up key contracts.
  • Liaising with other Group Central Services to ensure appropriate mobilisation delivery of IT, HR, TUPE and Procurement.
  • Identifying areas of mobilisation risk, maintaining risk registers and offering support to the contract teams post mobilisation.
  • Performing other tasks in between mobilisations as directed, involving project management of issues or works for other ‘steady-state’ projects as required 
  • Been flexible with work delivery methods and national travel to new projects around the country as required 
  • Assisting in ensuring all stakeholders understand and adhere to contractual obligations and reporting requirements
  • Data management and administration of transferring information relevant to new projects
  • Familiarity with corporate policy and procedures and transferring these to new projects during mobilisation

 

This is a full-time role based at one of the company’s offices in the South of England, although will you be required to travel to other Group or client offices/sites throughout the UK on a frequent basis, dependent upon operational needs as they arise.
