So every week, I post a topic here. You reply to it on the CSBG Twitter page (just write @csbg with your reply), our artists will each pick one of your suggestions and I will post their drawings based on your suggestions here every week. So every week you will have a new question and you will see the choices picked from the previous week.

To qualify, you have to be following @csbg when you reply - so go follow us and then give your answer to the following question/challenge (All suggestions due by 3pm Pacific Saturday).

The topic for the next Line is...

The Line it is Drawn celebrates its 500th edition next week! So for this theme, just re-send your favorite suggestions that you've made over the years for whichever theme and our artists will turn their picks into 500th issue covers!

Read on for the drawings that came about courtesy of the last question/challenge!

In honor of the late, great Joe Sinnott, our artists will just do tributes on their own. Next week will be a new theme, though!

Enjoy!

All copyright and trademarks of the following characters are held by their respective owners.

This is a general tribute by our artists to the great Joe Sinnott, who inked Jack Kirby on the Fantastic Four from about 1965-1970 (and before that, inked Doctor Doom's first appearance) and was also the inker and/or finisher on a number of other Marvel comics up until 1991, including long runs on Avengers, Avengers West Coast and Thor.

Sinnott also inked Jim Steranko on Steranko's iconic Captain America run. He also did pencils earlier in his career.

So our artists are just going to do their own takes on tributes. Some will recreate a classic Sinnott cover, some will do an homage to Sinnott's particular love for the Thing from the Fantastic Four. Heck, Sinott loved the Thing so much that some of our artists will just draw the Thing period.

Nick Perks is the artist for this recreation of a classic Sinnott cover. Here is his website.

Ryan Balmer did this tribute to Sinnott's Fantastic Four run. Here is his website.

Axel Medellin drew this tribute. His website is here.

Brendan Tobin drew this tribute. Here is his website.

Nick Perks is the artist for this Thing cover homage. Here is his website.

Seni Oyewole did this tribute to Sinnott's Fantastic Four run. Here is his website.

This cover homage featuring the Thing is by Dan Wolff. Dan's website is here.

The art for this tribute is by Monica Munster. Here is her website.

Monica's piece is a master copy (not copied directly) of a Ron Frenz and Joe Sinnott piece. She thought it was perfect to master copy and put a brush and sketchbook in hand especially based on the fact that Sinnott's family said he was drawing until the end.

Wonderful tributes to a wonderful comic book artist, everyone!

Okay, folks, go tweet us suggestions for the Line's 500th edition (I might be using some sketchy Marvel-style numbering, so sue me!)
