Yep. It is.

We have a regional economy that is growing faster than anywhere else in the country.

Helped with the likes of HSBC moving its HQ to the city, which the West Midlands Growth Company believes has contributed £540 million in economic impact in Birmingham, with £390 million coming directly from HSBC UK's new head office and the remainder via its supply chain.

Another 26 other financial services companies have invested in the West Midlands since the bank's new head office was announced in 2015.

And why are people moving to Brum?  Well it's actually a pretty amazing (and affordable) place to live and work.

You can expect to pick up a cool new apartment in the city centre for around £200,000 which, in comparison to the few million you’d be expected to pay for an apartment in Central London, is a bargain.

Birmingham is a buzz with multi award winning restaurants, street food, pubs, shops and major theatres and countless Art Galleries - if the city can inspire the likes of Ozzy Osbourne, Peaky Blinders, Charlie Chaplin and  JRR Tolkien, there has to be something pretty special about the place, right?

TINKER TAYLOR HQ is based in Birmingham - so if you fancy a trip up to see what all the fuss is about, get in touch and we will give you the guided tour!
