Over 2 years in the making, Transcending The Ruins is an album about growing up and tipping our hats to the great metal influences of the generations. A lot has happened in the world since 2014 and personally as well; the record pulsates from start to finish yet incorporates the massive dynamics, ambience and dashes of folk-melodies that the band has become known for. The party element is still present however, darker, heavier themes are consistent throughout. This is Protokult on speed all the while putting on a professional face, which makes it the most consistent and rewarding album to date.

The front cover and back were painted by Ukranian-Canadian artist, Marie Cherniy.
The inside cover is by far-east Russian artist Vadim Konradtyev and features vast Russian landscapes.
