HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police confirmed that a 90-year-old woman died after being struck by a vehicle Wednesday morning while crossing the street in Salt Lake, officials said.

The crash happened around 9:40 a.m. at the intersection of Ala Ilikoi and Ala Ilima streets.

Video taken by a dash-cam inside a nearby vehicle at the scene of the crash appears to show the moment the collision took place.

The driver of a red pick-up truck appears to have struck the woman while he was making a left turn.

In the video, a man can be seen getting out of the truck and immediately attempting to render aid to the woman. The woman was in the crosswalk at the time of the accident.

HPD added that at this time neither speed, drugs, or alcohol appear to be contributing factors in the crash.
