Big News: Salesforce Named a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant (Feb 2019)

Gartner names Salesforce a Leader in the February 2019 Magic Quadrant for Digital Experience Platforms.

We’re honored to be named a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Digital Experience Platforms (DXP). Organizations use DXPs as they move from web-centric to more connected, multichannel digital experiences. This Magic Quadrant helps those responsible for a range of customer-, employee-, and partner-facing initiatives find the most suitable vendor for their needs.

The report evaluated 17 vendors, and Gartner placed Salesforce as a Leader based on our completeness of vision and ability to execute.

What is a DXP?

Gartner defines a digital experience platform (DXP) as an integrated set of technologies, based on a common platform, that provides a broad range of audiences with consistent, secure, and personalized access to information and applications across digital touchpoints.

Whether building a website, portal, or mobile app, a DXP is the “center of gravity” for a company’s digital strategy across IT, Marketing, Commerce, and Digital. It’s the point through which all data, apps, and processes are surfaced as beautiful, engaging digital experiences. These experiences enable customers partners, and employees to access and manage information, business tools, and workflows that would otherwise live in a variety of systems, require a call to customer service to access, or be buried in an outdated portal that is difficult to navigate.

Salesforce’s DXP and Experience Cloud
