We teach children and adults running technique with the goal of improving their efficiency/speed and reducing their risk of injuries.

Ordinarily, we start off with a video analysis looking at the whole body biomechanics, and then we move onto the coaching to correct what we find.

7-Week Running Plans for Beginners

From complete beginners who have yet to exercise at all to intermediate runners, we share a series of running plans to help you kick-start 2019 with a healthy and positive attitude. All the exercise plans are seven or eight weeks long, with a detailed weekly activity planner to keep you on track.
Meet Paul Bartlett: Biomechanical Analysis Coach (The Running School @ Therapeutics)

I qualified from Brockenhurst College back in 2008 as a Personal Trainer & a Sports Massage Therapist, I initially worked in health club at Rhinefield House Hotel, after a few years there I joined the Running School in Jan 2012, since then I have been very fortunate to work with everyone from recreational runners to international athletes.

Nowadays my spare time is dedicated to family life, but I used to run competitively and play a lot of football. I live and grew up in The New Forest.

CLINIC NEWS - UPDATES FROM THE TEAM
  • Kim has started a new daytime Yoga class on a Thursday 9.30-10.30am, this is a small class of 6 and is filling up fast so please call reception if you wish to join. We are happy to start further classes so please contact us if you would like to give Yoga a try either in a class or as a 1-1.
     
  • Zoe Barrett is starting her AposTherapy training in London from the beginning of February, we will need volunteer clients who have knee osteoarthritis to be assessed during Zoe’s training, so please call us if you think you may be appropriate.
     
  • Rob Edmondson is also attending a diagnostic ultrasound course at the end of February which we hope will enable us to perform MSK diagnostic ultrasound assessments in the clinic, we will update you once he has completed his course.
