REOPENING KNOX COUNTY & OHIO
This Friday (May 1) is the date many Knox Countians and Ohioans have been waiting on for quite some time. While the virus and the risks it poses will still be with us for some time, the reopening of the county and our state doesn't come without protective measures.

You have been doing an amazing job Knox County!  We must continue our healthy habits, such as handwashing, wearing masks, and social distancing to protect ourselves as well as others in our vulnerable populations.

Our website at Knox Public Health contains thorough guidelines for businesses/individuals as we move forward in getting things going again. Click on the image above to be redirected to our website. Stay Safe, Knox County.

CONTINUED CLOSURES
The following businesses and operations are to remain closed per existing Stay-at-Home Orders. Click on the image for a more detailed list of closures and descriptions on our website.
HOMEMADE MASKS STILL NEEDED
Our community members and partners are continuing to ask for homemade masks. If you have homemade masks that you would like to donate, please take them to your local fire department or to Knox Area Transit. The masks do not have to be any design in particular - all homemade mask donations are graciously accepted!
WEAR THE MASK TO PROTECT OHIOANS
Face masks in retail settings are strongly recommended, not mandated. Please understand, if you can wear a mask, you should. Wearing a mask helps to protect the most vulnerable among us. Some places have required their employees to wear a mask, but not all.
DON'T FORGET TO VOTE
Today is the day! If you haven’t returned your ballot yet, you can still use the secure drop box outside the Knox County Board of Elections behind the Knox County Service Center. Turn it in by 7:30pm tonight!
SOCIAL DISTANCING SCOREBOARD
We need to do much better! Today (4/28), we are at a D for social distancing in Knox County. We are at peak level but not decreasing. This report card is based on random sampling of cell phone mobility usage in our county. Click on the image above for more information. #StayAtHomeOhio #InThisTogetherOhio
