Wanted Wednesday: Woman who vandalized stolen Driver’s Ed vehicle violates probation

HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police and CrimeStoppers featured 27-year-old Amber Elliott in this week’s Wanted Wednesday.

There is a $20,000 cash-only bench warrant out for Elliott’s arrest after she violated the terms of her probation.

She was place on probation after a 2016 incident where Elliott was arrested for driving and vandalizing a stolen state vehicle.

According to Honolulu CrimeStoppers, a witness observed Elliott drive a state vehicle onto the sand at Tracks Beach near the Kahe Power Plant on Oahu’s West Side.

The vehicle got stuck and Elliott got out and began spray painting over the state emblems on the vehicle.

The witness then called police.

Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the vehicle was stolen from the McKinley High School Driver’s Education parking lot.

Elliott was arrested for Unauthorized Control of Propelled Vehicle and Criminal Property Damage in the Third Degree.

She’s described as 5-feet-3-inches tall, about 140 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.
