May 24 2019
ARTISTS RECEPTION: Whiskey Painters of America

Artist Reception is Free to Attend

This exhibition is open to the public on Tuesday, May 7th and runs through June 13th.  People’s Choice Selections will be announced as the winners are celebrated during the 37th Whiskey Painters of America Exhibition reception on May 24th from 5:00 – 8:00 PM. Patrons will have the opportunity to mingle with the artists, watch live art demonstrations, enjoy refreshments and hors d’oeuvres and purchase art during this free reception.

For this year’s exhibition, members of the WPA have elected to donate Whiskey Paintings to be raffled off at their reception to be held on May 24th from 5:00 – 8:00 PM in the gallery at the Cuyahoga Valley Art Center (CVAC).  The proceeds from these raffled items will be used to support the art departments of our local elementary schools. These schools are doing their best to function with a yearly budget equal to less than the price of two Whiskey Paintings! Thus, every dollar goes a long way in support of the arts for these youths.
