Thank You for the Amazing 2018!

Greater than 2 minutes

Dear friends and colleagues,

We wanted to take this moment to say a heartfelt thank you to all the members of our community.

The Open Mic wouldn’t be the same without your love and continued support.

We’re truly blessed to have such an amazingly diverse community and really grateful to all the readers, writers and our team of volunteers who help make Open Mic even better.

It’s inedible to see how our community has grown and flourished over these past 3 years.

It wouldn’t be possible without you, our members.

Your kindness, your passion, your support don’t go unnoticed!

We hope 2018 treated you well, and that you’ve accomplished everything you’ve set out to achieve this year.

And even if you didn’t you know how the saying goes: there’s always next year. 😉

We hope 2019 will bring you lots of joy and a ton of new opportunities to grow and learn.

We also hope that we, as professionals, will continue to support each other, lead by example and inspire the next generation of translators and interpreters.

We can change the world for the better, so let’s make every word count.

Shout-out to Our Authors

With The Open Mic being a blogging community for translators and interpreters we think it makes sense to give a special shout-out to our authors.

Over a 100 professional translators and interpreters have contributed to our blog in the past 3 years with 111 articles published in 2018 alone.

Obviously we appreciate every contribution of each and single member of our community.

But we also would like to put in the spotlight some of the articles that stood out the most in 2018.

You may find them below. Have a look if you missed any of them and don’t forget to share, comment and thank our authors.

They deserve your support and words of encouragement.

You can easily reach every single author of our community by sending them a private message on our platform.

Thanks again and Happy New Year!
