CIAFV is excited to host Strangulation Identification Training with Morag McLean on March 18 from 09:00 - 12:00. Morag is a  Registered Nurse and Strangulation Specialist. Cost is 20-40$.

CIAFV's Ethnocultural Family Violence Commitee is excited to host a Masculinites in Newcomer Communities Panel on March 20 from 13:30 - 15:00. The panel will consist of:
  • Menghisteab Teclamariam, a pastor from Eritrean community
  • John Lendein, a facilitator for a newcomer men's group
  • Mohammad Ayyash, a leader from the Syrian community
  • Joseph Luri, a leader from the Sudanese community
