Macro mushrooms

I’ve always loved macro photography, so I love creating little worlds like this. This scene is a mashup of assets I’ve created over the years. The mushrooms are one of the first things I created after watching blender guru’s intro tutorials two years ago (I updated them for this render though), the rocks are photo scans I did in Sedona, and the other plants I made to scatter around various scenes to add texture. Blender was used for everything other than the photoscans, which I used meshroom for.

Wow, how loveley, thanks for sharing!

Are those mushrooms real ones? If not, you should name them, they are very original.

So glad you appreciate them!

The design was greatly inspired by Mycena interrupta. Obviously I took some creative liberties when creating these though.

Very interesting, thanks so much for taking the time to show me. Those are also very loveley. I wasn’t sure if there actually are blue mushrooms, now I know.

Macro photos (and renders) really do show another world, I love them too.
