Thanks, Fred Hi Fred, You only need a degree to consult if the kind of consulting you do requires licensure and a degree is a licensing requirement. Otherwise, you don't need a degree. I didn't have a degree when I started consulting. Lots of people get into consulting specifically because they DON'T have a degree and they've been turned away from full-time jobs for that [dumb] reason. They became successful on their own. The world is changing fast. We all need more than one oar in the water. Starting your own consulting business on the side gives you a second income stream and unlimited potential to grow, with or without a degree.
