With the DCEU's Shazam! now less than five months away from opening in theaters everywhere, the upcoming superhero film still has only released its first trailer which debuted this past July at Comic-Con International in San Diego.Director David F. Sandberg revealed that the reason behind the lengthy period between trailers is the amount of visual effects involved in completing the film's sequences.RELATED: Shazam! Director Comments on Film's Reshoots

This echoes a statement from Sandberg this past September where he disclosed that the suit for the film's titular superhero was still "a work in progress."

Shazam! is currently in the middle of scheduled reshoots in Toronto and, with fellow DCEU film Aquaman opening in just over a month, a new trailer attached to the Warner Bros. film would be perhaps the perfect opportunity to unveil another look at Billy Batson in action.
