SPOILER WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for "Call to Action," the latest episode of Supergirl.

James Olsen is in some major trouble. In "Call to Action," the latest episode of Supergirl, the man called Guardian agreed to meet up with the Children of Liberty in order try and understand them better. However, he soon found himself in too deep when they kidnapped him in a show of force.

Initially, James met with Tom, a Child of Liberty, for a chat. They strolled around Tom's neighborhood together as Tom explained the group's goals and mission: to keep the streets safe from alien "roaches." As they walked, Tom's dog exhibited some strange behavior, barking at seemingly random locations. Tom fiddled with his phone all the while, blaming the interruptions on his wife.

As it turned out, Tom's walk wasn't as innocent as it seemed. The Children of Liberty had trained the dog to bark at houses with alien residents. When the dog marked a house, Tom would pass the information along to the rest of the group, who proceeded to secretly tag the house. The tagged houses became the Children of Liberty's targets, so that the group knew who to attack on Thanksgiving night.

When he discovered Tom's true purpose, he arrived at Tom's house to try to talk him out of it. He successfully prevented Tom from participating in the Thanksgiving day attacks. Afterwards, Tom arranged a meeting with James under the pretense of changing his mind, but he had other, nefarious plans. He brought James to a remote location as part of a setup. Once he was sure they were alone, Tom signaled to the Children of Liberty and they pulled up in a black van, wearing masks. Overpowered and outmatched, James begrudgingly went along for the ride.

Of course, James is more than capable of taking care of himself. As the Guardian, he has fought foes far more physically powerful than Agent Liberty. As such, he may simply be going along with their ploy to learn more about Agent Liberty. He definitely won't get a location from them, though, since the Children of Liberty forced him to wear a hood.

Airing Sundays at 8 pm ET/PT on The CW, Supergirl stars Melissa Benoist as Kara Danvers, David Harewood as Martian Manhunter, Mehcad Brooks as Jimmy Olsen, and Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers.
