XXIO Prime Family – Indulge in Distance

XXIO (pronounced zek-si-oh) is the golf company with the name that typically gets mispronounced. But that’s not all they are, and if you’re unfamiliar with them, you may want to look a little closer. This premium equipment manufacturer creates luxury golf clubs exclusively for those players with moderate swing speeds. If this sounds like you, it’s time to read on and learn about their latest offerings, the XXIO Prime full line of clubs, which includes drivers, fairway woods, hybrids, and irons.

With special attention to even the smallest detail, expert craftsmanship, and the latest technologies, XXIO Prime delivers effortless distance and accuracy for your moderate swing speed.

XXIO Prime Driver

XXIO Prime DriverAs an industry-leader in ultra-lightweight golf equipment, XXIO completely redesigned their driver’s hosel structure in order to reduce stiffness at the tip of the shaft. What this aims to do is make it easier to shut (or square) the clubface at impact and strike the ball square in the center of the face for those desired longer and straighter tee balls.

They moved the hosel 2mm closer to the center of the face and gave it a more upright angle. That, combined with a softer tip, helps shut the face, reduce sidespin, and eradicate those slices and hooks.

To create more distance in the XXIO Prime driver, thinner, stronger titanium faces, as well as a wing body design for a lighter crown were instituted.

And to further enhance the club’s lightweight construction, they added an SP-1000 shaft with TORAYCA T1100G carbon fiber and NANOALLOY resin, which weighs just 36 grams.

This is an ultra-lightweight driver that’s truly built for speed and distance.

XXIO Prime Fairway Woods

A good fairway wood can be a go-to club off the tee when you’re having a bad day with the driver, as well as when you need to reach a long, difficult par-3 or a par-5 in two. In order to perform the latter two shots, you want a ball that launches high and lands softly so you can hold the green.

XXIO Prime FairwaysThe XXIO Prime fairway woods do just that. By lowering the club’s center of gravity and combining it with their Super-Tix technology, as well as a forged titanium cup face and the same repositioned hosel structure as found in the drivers, the XXIO fairway woods are designed to not only launch it higher but hit it farther as well.

XXIO Prime Hybrids

The purpose of a hybrid is to make those long-iron type shots uncomplicated for golfers to hit, and in order to do so, XXIO expanded the COR technology across the entire face, placed the CG low and deep, and lowered the crown of each hybrid by 1.4mm. A higher toe and lower heel create a larger heel area which in turn helps golfers hit it square.

All of this technology leads to the XXIO Prime hybrids, which launch high and straight, especially useful for reaching more greens on long par-4s or the green in regulation on a difficult par-3.

XXIO Prime Irons

XXIO Prime IronsHigh-density tungsten weights, as well as a shorter overall blade profile, help lower the CG and once again make it simpler to hit high-launching, straighter iron shots.

They’ve also moved the high point of the toe closer to the center of the clubface and lowered the heel height for a more upright club angle, which they say will help golfers strike the ball more in the center of the face for straighter, accurate shots.

With this new line of Prime clubs, XXIO hopes that the technology they’ve put into them will help golfers with moderate swing speeds hit it longer and straighter. And for the many of us who fight a slice, the XXIO Prime clubs actually encourage a draw-biased trajectory – as the company says – without changing your swing.
