Can social selling help me get past gatekeepers? In this blog, I explain why the notion of "gatekeepers" does not exist with social selling, it's old terminology from legacy sales methods. I also explain why you should be doing today to sell to the modern empowered buyer. At the end of the blog is a collection of blogs to help CEOs, Sales Leaders, salespeople, marketers on who you can sell and market in the modern world. You can also find a wealth of content (blog, videos, posts, etc) from the DLA ignite team if you follow #digitalorganization #socialselling #sales #salesleadership #salesdevelopment #salesenablement #saleseffectiveness

Timothy (Tim) Hughes 提姆·休斯 social can be a great way to get "in" to difficult to reach prospects. Better still, you bonding and rapport can begin even before you really "meet"! It also can be advantageous to connect with the gatekeeper as well! Like the band says "can I get a connection?" Get 'em and work 'em!

Amazing article Timothy about „digital“ gatekeepers and LinkedIn profiles. I love „It's worth noting that, the VPs that out there getting the likes from direct reports and channel partners, everybody knows what you are up to and can see round it. We know it's not authentic.“ Stay healthy, smart, upbeat, enthusiastic, and positive. Best, Daniel

My favorite line is "if you don't create curiosity and intrigue, you are easily forgotten". That is such great advice. It has so much weight to it and the most successful sales people completely understand it and live it. Great article Timothy (Tim) Hughes 提姆·休斯

Timothy (Tim) Hughes 提姆·休斯 the reason there are no gatekeepers in social online is the same reason they don’t exist offline when doing referrals. This is a great post for anyone in #sales.

The transparency on social media is astonishing. So, there are no gatekeepers and you can't hide behind an email address. Your social presence is so critical.

Ahhh yes, I remember those days well Timothy (Tim), In fact for the important accounts it was critical to have a better relationship with the gatekeeper than it was sometimes with the key contact! Thankfully those days are gone and now we can deal directly with the key people assuming as you correctly point out ...they view our online profile to be worthwhile!!
