The Liberty Hotel at 215 Charles Street where Beacon Hill meets the West End is adding curling to its repertoire of perks for guests as well as locals.

The boutique inn will debut an iceless rink on Monday, November 12, and will make it available to two to four players at a time using up to eight synthetic stones—which, the hotel says in a release, are smaller and lighter than the traditional granite ones that the Olympians and other pros use. Curling rounds usually last around 30 minutes.

The Liberty is offering complimentary rounds on Monday and Wednesdays from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. through February, weather permitting. Walk-ins are welcome and folks can reserve the rink as well.

And, because everything’s got a food tie-in, the Liberty’s CLINK restaurant (the site of the hotel was once a jail) will offer an après-curling menu, including cocktails. The Stone’s Throw looks pretty tasty—bourbon, Amontillado sherry, Carpano Antico Formula, black walnut syrup, and Angostura bitters.
