A 13-year-old boy suffered a graze wound from a bullet to his lower leg late Saturday night, according to New Orleans police.
The incident happened just before midnight in the 1600 block of Murl Street in Algiers.
A preliminary log of crime shows the victim said he was riding his bicycle when he heard gunshots coming from a dark-colored sedan. He realized he was shot and went home.
The teen was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
No other information was released.
