This book, is definitely a must read for all who like strong hot men, smart and sassy women, mixing in BDSM. I couldn't put it down. Read it in 12 hours, with my own family interruptions. There should be a law against one family having so many HOT men. Master Eagle, true to his name, strong, pride and honorable and his brother & cousins, believe they have what they need to be happy in life...I know a few of them could make me very happy. Peyton, workaholic, an over achiever, possibly; smart definitely, but family is important to her, will she fall to the demands of the Masters or will she fight against the grain. Can she keep her secrets and accomplish what was asked of her. It's hot, it pulls at your senses, heart strings and just when you think you know - you don't. This book will make you want to fall at the feet of the seven SIN'S. LOVED IT!!! Can't wait for more.

To be honest. I could not finish the book. I got to about 1/3 of the way in and had to give it up. It’s described as a dark BDSM story, so I came in expecting a grittier story. Instead it’s just bad.
Warning, spoilers ahead.
- first the h is supposed to be this great reporter that decides to go undercover to find her cousin except everyone recognizes her because she’s been on tv and she used her real name on the application. If she was at least a newspaper reporter… like how stupid. And she gets there and makes a ton of mistakes because she didn’t read the informational material they sent her? Like she didn’t do research? It’s hard to believe that. Also, she smells a story, but if she is in the lifestyle she would be more cautious about chasing the story. She wouldn’t want to give it a bad name. Here she just doesn’t seem to care.
-second, the H let’s her in knowing she’s a reporter. Now I get the better to know where she is so they can get ahead of whatever story she is writing, but he uses this as an excuse to break her. It reads as he is mad at another woman who made allegations. The h followed up, but dropped the story when she realized there wasn’t a story, like a professional, but because he can’t get revenge on the woman who wronged him, the h is a good replacement.
-third to punish the h, he locks her in a cage while he has sex with her cousin on the bed above the cage. He doesn’t know it’s her cousin, but how do you come back from that. All the time I kept reading, expecting it to stop, I was like “this isn’t a trigger?” Which reminded me that limits were not discussed and it bothered me.
-fourth, the guys are super smart but can’t tell why the cousins background looks scrubbed. h tells us the cousin used to be FBI and left to be part of castle sun. It’s obvious she’s there as a plant to either find the mole or unknowingly assist the mall. That the h didn’t put it together bathers me.
- and finally. It’s obvious that the cousin slept with or had an affair with someone the h was involved with. Someone she loves. I’m going to believe that the h is going to be ok getting involved with a guy that had no issues f@@@ her c in front of her? It’s not the I had a previous relationship with her, it’s the I rubbed it in your face.
The premise had promise but the execution was lousy. I hate not finishing books, and I might try again later for the sake of finishing it, but it’s so badly done idk if I can.

Unfortunately this is a DNF for me for now. I might pick it up later.
I'm not a big fan of using First Nations spirituality in the way that's depicted here with the 'totem animals.' It comes across as a little cultural appropriation ish, though maybe I'm misreading and the author is herself indiginous or intends the characters are.
I got stuck with some small details, like how this Stone doesn't know how the heroine is connected to the other woman but the narration says she is her cousin during his POV. Or how a journalist eager to uncover this story didn't bother reading any of the info sent about this island. She is on CNN and known to have investigated them already but uses her real name and expects they might not figure that connection out? Why pretend she doesn't have BDSM experience, how did that help? And why are these men also actors? They were billionaires by inheritance and have successful companies but acted in blockbuster movies... On a whim and they didn't even like it? And they just use different last names but think people don't connect them to the actors? Why did this movie stuff even go in the story except to make them billionaires, badass security business owners, mind-reading Dom's, geniuses and ALSO famous actors.....
So far the only steamy scenes are ones with cum control for some reason, it's all her desperately trying not to cum every time. What is the actual training here? How is this dark when it's a consensual BDSM situation? It's really not dark at all.
This might improve, right now I'm just going to take a break on it.

Who wouldn’t want a hot Alpha male topping them? This book has it all. Suspense, mystery, danger, secrets, lies and the most panty melting scenes you can imagine. So, take a trip to Castle of Sin. This was an okay read. The plot was just so over the top I could not get into it. It was just not a realistic read in any stretch of the imagination to me. I found Peyton to be pretty naive for a high profile reporter, she came off as dumb. Stone was okay, I just have a hard time finding romance in a book where the love interest Stone has sex with the MFC cousin while she was under to bed, it is one of those unforgivable sins in my book even though they were not in a relationship yet. I didn't feel the chemistry that much between Peyton and Stone. I like BDSM romance but this was just an okay read for me.

The seven deadly sins have nothing on these seven sizzling Doms. If the first book in the series is anything to go by, my Kindle and I are in danger of going up in flames. The perfect combination of suspense, intrigue, kink, and blazing heat! I’ve read other books by this author but have found my new addiction. Cannot wait to read more.

There aren't many constants in the Universe, but the quality of Ms Basset's writing is one of them (IMO).
I loved AND enjoyed this beginning book in a new series from the author. And this book has A LOT to recommend it: SIZZLING steamy s*x (& I mean SIZZLING!), intrigue, suspense, danger, espionage, angst, a hard DOMINANT Alpha, a steel spined hardheaded heroine that alternates between embracing & fighting being a submissive.
An emotionally locked Hero that finds himself lusting in the most unexpected way for the new & puzzling submissive to enter Castle Sin's training program.
A heroine who is an experienced & hard hitting news journalist searching for her cousin as well as a story & finding a Master she's lusted over from afar.
But things don't go as expected OR planned for either Master Eagle (Stone) or Peyton . . . .
> Plot: Excellent. Filled with emotion, with pain (emotional & physical), danger, intrigue & espionage. With betrayal & enlightenment, with steam & broken hearts trying to find their way to healing.
> Characters: Stellar. The author is flawless (IMO) with how she peels the layers back on them, allowing the reader to slowly gain insight into them, to learn WHY they make the decisions they make, why they feel & react the way they do. And the peeling back throughout the book keeps the reader on delicious tenterhooks, always wanting MORE.
> Writing: Again, STELLAR. The author is deft with her vocabulary, the pacing, the phrasing. I love when an author writes in such a way I am effortlessly swirled into her character's world, seamlessly entering into their perceptions & environment. Ms. Basset is a Wordsmith, a Spellcrafter, her writing enchants, enthralls, entrances me in such a way I feel anger, love, hope, fear for her charcaters & their situations. I feel their worry, fears, insecurities, pain, hope & love & loss. Is there any greater joy for a reader than to be so perfectly ensorcelled by an author? Not for this reader!
Do I recommend this book? HECK, YES, without any hesitation or reservations!

I love when an author writes in such a way I am effortlessly swirled into her character's world, seamlessly entering into their perceptions & environment. Ms. Basset is a Wordsmith, a Spellcrafter, her writing enchants, enthralls, entrances me in such a way I feel anger, love, hope, fear for her charcaters & their situations. I feel their worry, fears, insecurities, pain, hope & love & loss. Is there any greater joy for a reader than to be so perfectly ensorcelled by an author? Not for this reader!

Castle Sin is an amazing and interesting read. It is sexy af, full of suspense, intrigue, and will keep you on the edge of your seat. Not only is it a very hot story but you will love the characters and the storyline. The king of the castle is Stone Sinclair, along with the other masters of BDSM. Stone, Master Eagle says he will never take a sub as his own until Peyton arrives on the island. She’s not really there for the pleasure but to rescue her cousin, Savannah. Both were sent to destroy Be Secure Enterprise, own by the Sinclair’s. BSE were protecting the president and the country, although there were men out to stop them by getting the info needed to blow up their island. Leaving them open to control the U.S.
Peyton and her cousin needed to find out where the operations were in order to save Peyton’s father and Savvy’s mother. But Peyton realized she couldn’t continue to be untruthful to Stone any longer. She fell in love and everything she hoped for would be gone and he would hate her, plus they realized there was no way they would be left alive even if they succeeded.
Peyton told Stone about the plans these men were after and with the knowledge and skills at their disposal they formed a plan. It was the only way to be sure everyone who meant something to them could survive.
I was totally in love with the book and this couple. And I am excited to read what will be in book 2 of the Castle Sin series.

Where do I begin with how phenomenal this start to this new series is! It so deserves more than five stars! The story of Peyton and Stone will hold you captive from the very first sentence to the very last word. When Peyton goes to Castle Sin to find her cousin, she didn't anticipate how she would feel when she meets Master Eagle aka Stone. You could just feel it in your heart that when they met, they belonged together. This is not your "run of the mill" BDSM type story, not at all! It has mystery and intrigue mixed in as well to make this so much more. There are so many facets to this story that it is mind blowing! The interactions and chemistry between Peyton and Stone is absolutely chart topping! Not only is Peyton a strong female character, she is charming and funny as well! Stone, on the other hand, is a total alpha male that you can't help but fall in love with! He is absolutely delicious! And not to mention, you are introduced to the other Masters, and let me tell you this, you want to meet all of them! This story will keep you on the edge of your seat, so much so, that I read it in one sitting!! This is a truly phenomenal read and I am so looking forward to the next in this series!! Bravo to this author, she knocked this out of the park!

I love how Linzi Basset always manage to make me go through an array of emotions and that I always get close to breaking a Kindle while reading her. Because Linzi brings BDSM to another level. She makes it a way of living and sometimes, things she does to her characters is merciless. But one of the reason I read Linzi is definitely because she always gives to the readers what they want. No matter what it is. She had me doubt on Stone 2 times, one I still cringe a bit on it, but no because it wasn’t done right; only because it’s a personal limit for me. But.... I give five stars to Linzi Basset to always surprise me. To give me the greatest high with a turn I hadn’t expected and definitely made Stone my favorite of all of her Doms characters Ive read from her. I should’ve expected her to surprise me like this, but with everything Linzi does, she like to distract her readers’ attention and hit when you least expect it, making everything else worth to get there. Trust Linzi right until the end because she definitely doesn’t let us down. Angst, intensity, hotness, pure Alpha Male with heart deeper than you can suspect, this new Series promises to be one of my favorite of Linzi Basset.

This story is intense, exciting, mysterious and erotic. I cannot believe how carefully the eroticism and mysterious mission can be so meticulously interwoven in a manner that tugs at my heart and elevates my libido all at the same time. Excellent writing---deserves more than 5 stars!

Wow what a fabulous start to a new series. If you love mystery, intrigue, hot men, submissive women and a lot of BDSM this is the book for you. No one can weave a story like Linzi Basset and this just might be her best yet.
Stone is the Alpha of all Alphas and once he meets Peyton he realizes that there is something there but with her lies and deceit how will he bring her to heel?
Peyton being the independent, sassy, funny and submissive woman she is will she be able to let everything go and give her self completely to Stone?
Dealing with training all the subs/slaves along with their security business and someone out to cause trouble will they all survive and will Stone finally break Peyton and make her his?

I enjoyed the suspense aspect here, and if it would have gotten a "real" ending or a cliffhanger ending to roll into the next story I would have been satisfied, but it just kinda seems that there was a bang and done. But the end of the bdsm story line between Peyton and Stone was perfect.

OMG!!! This book is absolutely stunning. I was totally captivated from the very beginning . It pulled me in and held me hostage throughout the book. Holy hotness..... This book will melt your panties off. Master Eagle aka Stone is a Doms Dom. Peyton may portray herself as a newbie, there is so much more to her story.
