Strictly Come Dancing's Kate Silverton has assured fans that she will in fact be dancing tonight (November 3), despite suffering an injury in rehearsals.

The news presenter posted a clip of herself on the floor yesterday (November 2) taking nitrogen and oxygen gas after "stripping the muscle" from her rib (ouch), though said she would still dance "if it is the last thing [she does]".

"The last time I did this was in childbirth," Kate said in the clip of taking the gas (while in hysterics), "actually I've forgotten how good it was!"

"I somehow have stripped the muscle," she further explained as she consulted with a paramedic, "on my best dance! On my best week I managed to strip my muscle".

She added: "I will be dancing tomorrow, if it is the last thing I do!", though did stop at one point to grab her chest in pain.

In a separate clip, her dancing partner Aljaz Skorjanec walks in as Kate jokes that she's getting a fake tan.

The presenter isn't the only contestant to suffer an injury this week, with Stacey Dooley tearing a muscle ahead of her dance tonight.

Kate addressed their respective setbacks on Twitter, writing to a fan wishing them both luck: "Apparently week 7 is when the most injuries occur ... we are all fine ... just a hazard of the job ! Will be in that dance floor tomorrow !"

"Then I SHALL make it to the ball!!" she wrote in response to one of the Strictly wardrobe people who wished her better.

"Thank you my lovely - am resting up and will see you tomorrow ! Xxx".

Kate and Aljaz will be dancing an Argentine Tango to 'Assassin's Tango' by John Powell on tonight's show.

Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays and Sundays on BBC One.
