Superman is jacked, but it turns out he's not as jacked as Henry Cavill.

While we didn't think it was possible, it seems the actor has exceeded his most famous role in the muscle stakes—at least going by a new picture shared to Instagram.The actor posted a picture of his bare-armed self next to a life-sized model of the Man of Steel, and he honestly looked way more ripped than the plastic version.

"I don't always workout, but when I do, I workout with Superman," he captioned the picture.

Well, when the world's in danger, we know we'll be calling on Henry Cavill over Clark Kent. Sorry, Supes. There were recent reports that the star was quitting the role of Superman after talks broke down, though his fellow DC star Jason Momoa reckons that we will see him again.

"He's absolutely not," the Aquaman actor reassured us. "He loves the character and he's not, 100%.

"No, it's absolutely not."

Warner Bros said in an initial statement after the news was originally reported: "While no decisions have been made regarding any upcoming Superman films, we've always had great respect for and a great relationship with Henry Cavill, and that remains unchanged."

Well, he certainly still looks big enough for the part... but we'll have to wait and see what happens in the DC Universe.
