A new Lucasfilm trademark reveals that the Star Wars universe is still expanding. But what does Star Wars: Galaxy of Adventures refer to?

Something new is in the works for Star Wars fans. A new scoop from Star Wars Post reveals that Lucasfilm has just trademarked something called “Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures.”

The Star Wars universe is ever expanding. Disney Channel’s animated series, Star Wars Resistance, aired its first episode just last month. Episode IX, the final film in the latest Star Wars trilogy, will hit theaters next December. At Comic-Con this year, it was announced that Clone Wars, the hit animated series that was abruptly cancelled in 2013, will get more episodes to finish the story.  And then of course there are several television series in the works including The Mandalorian and a series focusing on Cassian Andor, Rogue One‘s mustached rebel spy. And that’s not to mention the many characters rumored to have spin-off films of their own in the future, including Lando Calrissian and Obi-Wan Kenobi.

But Star Wars isn’t limited to the big screen. The galaxy far, far away has spawned numerous popular video games, mobile games, books, and merchandise. And of course there is Galaxy’s Edge, the new Star Wars themed lands in Disneyland and Disney World. These park areas will both open in 2019.

And now there is “Galaxy of Adventures” to explore.

No details have been released regarding Lucasfilm’s new project, though fans are already making their guesses. One rumor suggests that the trademark refers to a new animated series yet to be announced, considering the hype of Disney’s new streaming service, Disney+, and all that will offer.

However, sources at Yakface claim that “Galaxy of Adventures” refers to a new product line from Hasbro. These “story in a box” sets will reportedly include action figures and mini comics. The first four figures are supposedly Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Chewbacca, and R2-D2, with sets for Princess Leia, Han Solo, a stormtrooper, and Yoda scheduled for future release.
