Aretha Franklin Gospel Album Songs of Faith to Be Reissued

Aretha Franklin’s 1956 recordings Songs Of Faith: Aretha Gospel have been remastered for a new vinyl reissue. It arrives March 22 via Geffen/UMe, and will be released on a limited-edition white vinyl LP in addition to a traditional black vinyl and digitally as well. Songs of Faith was recorded at the New Bethel Baptist Church when Franklin was 14 years old, accompanying herself on piano and performing before sermons by her father, the Rev. C. L. Franklin.
