The detail

This dazzling trullo villa can be found nestled in the stunning Puglia countryside. The building itself is absolutely enchanting - sympathetically restored it is now the perfect space for a fabulous group holiday, be it with friends or family.

Outside, the communal areas boast a gorgeous pool, vine-covered stone dining area and stunning outdoor wood oven. Inside this architectural gem, the interiors are light and airy - and the owners really have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

In the local area you are spoilt for choice with pretty local towns and striking Italian countryside that boasts wild-flowers, vineyards and orchards bursting with fruit and nuts - it’s absolutely picture perfect.

Inside the property there is a cavernous lounge and dining area complete with leather sofa, wood burning stove and a library of books (around 70 on the last count!). There’s also a TV and DVD player along with a bundle of games - perfect for some quality family time.

The kitchen is charming and well equipped with a fabulous stone floor. Everything you need to cook your own Italian feast has been thoughtfully provided - there are even cookery books in English if you need some inspiration.

There are five double bedrooms (one ensuite) each as individual and charming as the next. With bespoke beds (one being circular!), pretty stone nooks and colourful eiderdowns they are simply stunning. Above you are fabulous beams and breathtaking conical roofs in every bedroom giving the place plenty of rural charm.

There are three modern bathrooms each with top of the range Italian fittings and beautiful stone alcoves.

Outside is the most perfect communal space. A sparkling pool is surrounded by exquisite planting, a large vine-covered eating area, shaded table tennis table and a magnificent wood burning oven. Make sure you set yourself the challenge of making pizza from scratch - all the information has been helpfully provided.

Beyond the pool area there is a field with fruit and nut trees, take a stroll and help yourself to any ripe offerings. It’s also the perfect space for any younger members to run around whilst you sunbathe next to the pool.

The local area is stunning. Explore the winding streets and fabulous restaurants found in the local towns of Alberobello (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Martina Franca, or the culinary king of towns, Ceglie Messapica. Whether it’s local markets, fabulous restaurants or an out-of-this-world gelato, you’re bound to find it around here - bellissimo!
