Leslie Jones has responded to the news that director Jason Reitman will direct Ghostbusters 3, which will ignore the 2016 Ghostbusters remake directed by Paul Feig and starring Jones, Kate McKinnon, Kristen Wiig, and Melissa McCarthy. The actor compared ignoring the remake to something President Donald Trump would do."So insulting. Like fuck us. We dint count," Jones said in a tweet Saturday evening while tagging her co-star Melissa McCarthy, Sony Pictures and Paul Feig. "It’s like something trump would do. (Trump voice)”Gonna redo ghostbusteeeeers, better with men, will be huge. Those women ain’t ghostbusteeeeers” ugh so annoying. Such a dick move. Reitman's Ghostbusters 3 will be set in the original Ghostbusters universe where Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz, Egon Spengler and Winston Zeddemore defeated Gozer the Gozerian in the 1984 movie and later, dethroned Vigo the Carpathian in 1989's sequel, Ghostbusters II.

A new report states the living original Ghostbusters Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson will return for the new film. While it's not clear how Ghostbusters 3 will address the absence of the late Harold Ramis, who played the Ghostbuster Egon Spengler and co-created the franchise, Hudson said that his presence could still be felt in the film.

"I miss him, but his spirit is there. But Ivan Reitman is there and everybody is in," Hudson said to DailyMailTV, before remembering his late friend. “He was my go-to point and anything that was a little bit weird, or whatever, Harold was the guy who would sort of say, Ernie, just…” and explain the world to me."
