Anthems in Ashes leaves us an EP full of strength and brutality, with arrogance when singing and a challenging attitude! For fans of Hard Rock and also bands like In This Moment, Lzzy Hale and others, you will enjoy this EP.

 

Coming from Toronto, Canadá, Anthems in Ashes released their EP, Burn It Down  and recently released a video for the single, "Her Fire". Harley and Anthems In Ashes will blind you with heavy guitars, bass, drums, powerful riffs and that intense voice!

Her Fire

 

It opens with a piano passage and a touching commotion of Harley Olivia, then it jumps with a guttural roar, full of howling aggression, and hard riffs, "Your Fire" transforms into a wild and heavy growl, heavy and strong! With a punk style and attitude, with a sudden harsh and sudden sound and so it erupts furiously with a fierce and aggressive voice, closing as he opened the song.

 

Follow You Down

 

Excellent entry of guitars, crushing and knocking down with a loud and aggressive sound anything that gets in the way. A Heavy Rock loaded with an attitude that sounds good, Harley has an interesting vocal range, he has good command of the song, a harsh, guttural and clean voice that goes according to the high or low notes of the background instruments.

Stealing Names

 

Opens with killer heavy guitar riffs! Excellent guitar work by Max Moy and Micheil Gray, Harley Olivia sounds incredible according to these hard riffs! A Hard Rock !.

 

Ghost I Know

 

A very different start with a single line of the Bass silence and mysterious, then begins a machine gun of potentially murderous riffs! And hard! I like it when she lets go by melting us with screams and grunts that make the skin stand on end.

 

Hunger

 

Another surprise similar to the last tracks but later with a powerful and hard guitar sound. Harley's voice is super melodic, clean and strong! It gives quite a few turns from soft to heavy and back. I like the part where you can hear your cleanest and clearest voice, exploits all the sound that surrounds it.

 

My Recomendation

 

Anthems in Ashes released an EP with a lot of style and attitude, clearly with a Hard Rock imprint! With a little Punk - Metal! The vocalist Harley Olivia is a singer that I like her record and vocal range, from clear clearings to gutturals and growls that don’t lose strength before the changes of powerful, acute or low notes of guitars and drums. Olivia you have a unique, powerful and wide-ranging voice with a mix of soul attitude, you reminded me of something of this genre! And of course a powerful Hard Rock!

 

The Voice

 

The Voice of Olivia has an excellent range and record, in some parts exceeds the intensity of the guitar! And in others more aggressive and strong, totally an intimidating voice, your voice has a lot of attitude! Clean and clear in some parts and totally mixed with the powerful riffs that accompany it.

Her Fire

 

Abre con un pasaje de piano y una conmovedora conmoción de Harley Olivia, Después salta con un rugido gutural, lleno de agresión aullante, y riffs duros, "Su Fuego" se transforma en un salvaje y pesado gruñido, pesado y fuerte! Con un estilo y actitud punk, con sonido áspero y rápido de repente y asi irrumpe furiosamente con una feroz y agresiva voz, cerrando asi como abrió la canción.

 

Follow You Down

 

Excelente entrada de guitarras, aplastando y tumbando con un sonido fuerte y agresivo cualquier cosa que se interponga. Un Rock pesado cargado de actitud que suena bien, Harley tiene un rango vocal interesante, tiene buen dominio de la canción, una voz áspera, gutural y limpia que va acorde a las notas altas o bajas de los instrumentos de fondo.

 

Stealing Names

 

Abre con unos riffs de guitarra asesinos y contundentes pesados!  Excelente trabajo de guitarra de Max Moy y Micheil Gray,  Harley Olivia suena increíble acorde con estos riffs duros! Un Hard Rock!.

 

Ghost I Know

 

Un inicio muy diferente con una sola línea del bajo silencio y misterioso,  después comienza una ametralladora de riffs potencialmente asesinos! Y duros! Me agrada cuando ella se suelta derritiéndonos con gritos y gruñidos que erizan la piel.

 

Hunger

Otra sorpresa semejante a los últimos tracks pero después con un potente y duro sonido de guitarras. La voz de Harley es súper melódica, limpia y fuerte! da bastantes giros de suave a pesado y de vuelta. Me agrada la parte donde se escucha mejor su voz más limpia y clara, explota todo el sonido que la envuelve.

 

Mi Recomendación

 

Anthems in Ashes lanza un EP con mucho estilo y actitud, claramente con una huella de Hard Rock! Con un poco de Punk - Metal! La vocalista Harley Olivia es una cantante que me gusta su registro y rango vocal, desde limpios claros a guturales y gruñidos que no pierden fuerza ante los cambios de notas potentes, agudas o bajas de guitarras y batería. Olivia tienes un voz única, potente y de rango amplio con una mezcla de actitud del soul, me recordaste algo de este género! Y por supuesto de un potente Hard Rock!

 

La Voz

 

La Voz de Olivia tiene un excelente rango y registro, en algunas partes supera en intensidad a la guitarra! Y en otras más agresiva y fuerte, totalmente una voz intimidante, su voz tiene mucha actitud! Limpia y clara en unas partes y totalmente se mezcla con los potentes riffs que la acompañan.
