Several schools dismissed early Wednesday due to winter weather

HOPKINS CO., KY (WFIE) - Several Tri-State school systems dismissed early on Wednesday.

According to the Hopkins County school system’s Facebook page, schools were dismissed one hour early due to the potential for winter weather this afternoon. There will be no after-school activities, and no afternoon preschool.

Muhlenberg County Schools were dismissed two hours early and all PM Head Start and after-school activities have been canceled.

Webster County Schools dismissed at 2 p.m. All after school activities have also been canceled and there will be no PM preschool.

In McLean County, MCPS schools were dismissed 1 hour early and afternoon preschool was canceled.

The entire Tri-State is under a Winter Weather Advisory from 3PM Wed until 6PM Thur.
