Denizens Brewing To Open 2nd Production House and Taproom

On May 25, Denizens Brewing will open its second location at Riverdale Park Station, a transit-oriented living, dining, and shopping core located in the heart of Maryland’s Riverdale Park neighborhood.

Conveniently located in the vibrant city-center, close to a number of pedestrian walkways and biking trails, Denizens second location features a 9,000 square foot production space that will brew Denizens’ year-round offerings, as well as a 150 seat taproom 150 seat with a full restaurant and cocktail bar that will feature local drafts, wines, and spirits.

Denizens’ original two-level Barrel House & Beer Garden will continue its operation in Silver Spring, with a heightened focus on barrel-aging, mixed-fermentation, and limited-edition seasonal offerings.

Braxton Brewing Announces New Barrel-Aging Brewhouse

Braxton Brewing has announced major development plans to expand its presence to Fort Mitchell, Kentucky with the opening of the area’s first barrel-aging brewery and taproom.

Expected to open its doors in fall of 2019, the Braxton Barrel House will offer a unique experience for patrons by giving them the opportunity to create custom private barrel picks of barrel-aged brews. Ranging from $500 to $5,000, these custom private barrels can yield upwards of 300 bottles of barrel aged beer.

Braxton’s future taproom will be located in a 2000 square ft space that was once a Remke grocery store and includes a 20,000 square foot warehouse under the main floor (!) that will house the barrel-aging operation.

Flying Rhino Brewing To Take Off North Of Galveston

Dickinson, Texas will be home to a new brewery set to open spring or summer 2020. Located on a 2acre property with expansive patio capability, Flying Rhino Brewing’s 6,000-square-foot brewery space will feature a 10-barrel system.

Conceived a  bucolic beer destination as well as a community hangout where families can bring children and enjoy a beer on the lawn, Flying Rhino Brewing will also feature a 2,100-square-foot taproom designed by Houston-based Method Architecture with the capacity to service up to 80 beer lovers.
