KNIGHTSVILLE, SC (WCSC) - A Dorchester District 2 school went into a precautionary lockdown Tuesday morning because of someone skeet shooting on private property, according to district spokeswoman Pat Raynor.

The school resource officer at Knightsville Elementary School told school administration to go into lockdown because of reported shots fired in a neighborhood nearby, Raynor said.

The investigation led to people skeet shooting after a 20-minute lockdown, according to Raynor.
