Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Wildeboer secures career saves record in shutout win at WLC

MILWAUKEE – Grace Wildeboer now has more saves than any goalkeeper in Edgewood College Women's Soccer history. With her third of five saves on Sunday night, Wildeboer secured her 427th career save, moving her atop the Eagles record book. She finished the night with five saves in a 1-0 shutout win for the Eagles.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After two first-half saves, Wildeboer grabbed the record save in the 71st minute, stopping a Warriors shot to keep the match scoreless. She added two more saves in the second half, completing her fourth shutout of the season.

- The Eagles broke the scoreless tie in the 84th minute as Marley Satran scored her second game-winning goal of the season. Satran dribbled through the defense and beat the Warriors keeper in the lower left corner. Both of Satran's goals this season are game-winners and both have come against Wisconsin Lutheran College.

- The Eagles were outshot 13-6 on Sunday but made the six shots count with the Satran game-winner late. Satran finished the match with two shots, while Siobhan Gallagher fired three shots.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Wildeboer now has 429 career saves and moved past Meghan Magner who recorded 426 from 1998-2001. Wildeboer has played every minute of every match for the Eagles since arriving on campus in the fall of 2017.

- The Eagles four wins this year have all been shutouts. Edgewood College has blanked Wisconsin Lutheran twice and both Alverno and Lakeland once.

UP NEXT
- Edgewood College will play at home against Concordia University Wisconsin on Wednesday night. The match at Edgewood College Field at Reddan Park is set for a 7 p.m. start.
