“Nothing that boy did could ever justify what happened to him,” Till’s accuser admits according to a 2007 interview newly revealed in the book “The Blood of Emmett Till.”
The white woman who fatally accused 14-year-old Emmet Till of flirting with her in 1955 revealed for the first time ever that those claims were fabricated and completely false.
According to Vanity Fair reports, Timothy Tyson, the author of a new book titled The Blood of Emmett Till, spoke with Carolyn Bryant Donham, who was 21 years of age at the time that she accused Till of making physical and verbal advances towards her. Notwithstanding, as Donham revealed to Tyson in his new book: “That part’s not true.”
Donham’s claims against Till both enraged and empowered two white men, J.W. Milam and his half-brother Roy Bryant, to abduct and murder Till three nights later. Once they were done, only a bloody, bludgeoned, and bruised body remained, which they promptly dumped at the bottom of the Tallahatchie River in Mississippi.
“Nothing that boy did could ever justify what happened to him,” Donham said.
Hmm, too little too late for recompense, perhaps? What do you think?

I say this… When I post all the photos of the lynchings, most of us won’t touch it… I did not post the photos for graphics or to scare people… I post those photos to show the white people standing around those bodies of our ancestors, smiling in the cameras and have an understanding that nothing will happen to them, regardless and nothing has happened, even if they are alive today and most are the grandparents of children we where playing and going to school with… This woman knows, especially now that her klan is in the white house, she can do and say what she wants and write to make money from it… We have yet to be able to even make a movie about the many Emmitt Tills in our life time, just so we can recoup some of economics taken from us during those years of lies, oppression, murder and injustice in this country… We have more of a problem of those not being held accountable back then or now that are feeling embolden to bring back what their parents or grandparents have taught them in white supremacy school that their time is now, with the grand wizard in office… What are WE going to do about it, now that we can’t afford to move or create our own country…
