Potential exists in every child. But some youth in our community struggle to reach their potential. They need extra support to help them discover who they are and how much they can achieve.

Big Brothers Big Sisters develops strong one-to-one mentoring relationships between at-risk youth and caring adult mentors. In this unprecedented time of social distancing, these relationships are more important than ever before. Data shows that the population we serve will be the hardest hit by the COVID-19 pandemic - it may be lost jobs, academic struggles, or a lack of basic necessities. But in these uncertain times, the connection between children and their mentors remains rock solid.

Children matched with a mentor are more likely than their peers to do well in school, avoid risky behaviors, and develop confidence and self-esteem. Your participation helps make more life-changing matches possible!
