Perseverance Leads to Promotions at The Carvonis Group (Part 1 of 2)

Here at The Carvonis Group (Miami, FL) promotions are a big deal! The reason why is because all employees are required to start in an entry level position and work their way up off their own merit. In the truest and most pure form, promotions are only given when they are deserved- not merely based off of tenure or experience level. Recently, Daniel Mendelson received the highest promotion offered at our company and we’re excited to let you get to know him, and his journey, a little better.

The Carvonis Group, Miami, CareerBefore starting his journey at The Carvonis Group, Daniel worked for the Miami Dolphins for three years in the business development department. “I loved my job with the Miami Dolphins, but the growth opportunity was not there,” stated Daniel. Prior to that, he attended graduate school and received his Masters Degree in Sport Management.

The President of The Carvonis Group, Krystoff Carvonis, has worked closely with Daniel over the past few years and took the time to share some insight into his journey:

“Daniel has been with me since I started this company,” he said. “He is a very fast learner and he applied our systems right out of the gate which led him to earning his first promotion into a leadership role quicker than most. About a year later, we promoted Daniel to an Assistant Manager. As an important side note, Daniel actually was promoted into this role before his own coach and mentor- living proof that our training program works, is truly merit based, and that at the end of the day you create your own destiny. As an assistant manager is where he learned that in order to develop and establish a team of high performing individuals, it is vital to be able to replicate yourself and your systems. Since then, Daniel has been pivotal in developing people at The Carvonis Group and has been a part of all back-end management processes,” added Carvonis.

In June of 2018 Daniel attended a national sales and leadership conference that completely shifted his mindset and career trajectory. Be sure to check out Part 2 to find out what changed, what’s next, and what advice he has to share!
