Authorities say Tina Diana Snipes of Edisto Island was last seen on Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the Horizon EZ shop on 2410 Highway 174 on Edisto Island.

CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Charleston County detectives say the disappearance of a 43-year-old woman is suspicious in nature.

Deputies are continuing to search for Tina Snipes of Edisto Island.

Authorities say Snipes was last seen on Aug. 15 at 3 p.m. at the Horizon EZ shop on 2410 Highway 174 on Edisto Island.

"Detectives now believe that the circumstances surrounding Tina Snipes' disappearance are suspicious," CCSO officials said. "Limited details are available, as this case is active."

Detectives are asking for the public's help for any information into Snipes' activity, specifically since she disappeared.

According to the sheriff's office, Snipes was last seen wearing a necklace, sunglasses, textured tank-top, yoga pants, flip-flops, and her hair was worn up in a bun.

"Subject is not known to drive or own a vehicle," CCSO officials said.
