No injuries in early morning house fire in Bemidji

BEMIDJI-No injuries were reported Friday morning during a residential fire in the 4000 block of 15th Street NW. The call was reported at 3:05 a.m., and the Bemidji Fire Department arrived on scene to find flames coming from a mobile home. No one was at the residence at the time of the fire.

Firefighters were able to quickly contain and extinguish the fire located in a bedroom.

Eleven firefighters used one fire engine and two tenders on the scene. The department was on scene approximately an hour and a half. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Bemidji Fire Department; however it appears accidental in nature, a release from the department said. The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office assisted the department at the scene.
