Sensory Bottle Request Form
Girl Scout Troop 744 are 5th graders from Elkridge that are currently working on their Bronze Award, the highest award for a Junior Girl Scout. The girls have been together since they were Daisies and were recently recognized at the White House for their efforts to support health care workers during the pandemic. The requirements for this award are to explore their community and to choose a project that will allow them to educate other girl scouts and to leave a lasting impact.

The girls have spent the last few months learning about autism through research and special guests like ABA therapists, parents with children on the spectrum, and an adult living with autism. The troop will take what they've learned and teach other Girl Scouts about autism, acceptance, and how to make sensory bottles. We hope to have over 100 girls attend our event.

The troop will then collect the sensory bottles, make them secure, sanitize them, and prepare them for distribution to our friends in the autism community. The troop will be distributing the sensory bottles on Sunday March 21st from 1 pm to 4 pm in the Howard County Autism Society parking lot. We will follow COVID guidelines and will ensure a contactless experience. We would be honored to make your child a special sensory bottle.  If you are interested, please fill out this form so we have an idea of how many bottles to make.
