In Bob Keisser (BKinLA) is the commissioner of the SSG Franchise Progression League, which is a running in accelerated (9 games per day) format to move quickly through time. The league started with the 1924 season. The league has completed 8 seasons so far, and it’s had 8 different champions from 8 different franchises in those 8 seasons! Congrats to the winners:

Value can sometimes take a back seat to need in a small pool. It might be worth it to spend $11M on a guy who’s only worth $9M because he’s the only 3B left in the pool you’d feel comfortable starring 160 games
As to value, everyone has their own opinion but I use 3.3 RC per million, and 10 RC per 3 million, so if two guys are both rateed similarly on defense and one guy creates 10 more runs than the other on offense and only costs $2M more, his value is $1M greater
