I really enjoy reading books from this author! Her characters are complex and flawed. There is always something intense and engaging going on in her stories. I am never bored. And while I am usually very good at inferencing, I admit that this author tends to surprise me. Often predictability is commonplace in romance novels. So when I can be surprised; it's a good thing.
So, first let me tell you that this book is not a standalone. You'll need to read Bodyguard To The Billionaire, which is book one of this duet. Of course that first book ends on a cliffhanger so consider yourself lucky that you can binge them both as The Billionaire's Secret is releasing on September 17th 2019.
Theo and Zia have great chemistry and are perfect together. That is, until secrets are revealed. After Theo's truths are revealed, he is worried that the woman he is falling in love with will want nothing to do with him. And yes, Zia is angry and feels betrayed. There is a lot going on in this book and since I don't want to spoil it for you, I won't say much more. But you I promise you there is a happy ending for Theo and Zia. And even Derrick! However, if you are a fan of Nan Malone's Winston Isles, this is another book you won't want to miss.
This is my honest and unbiased review. Thank you for taking the time to read it. :)

Ok so now we have the conclusion to BodyGuard to the Billionaire and oh what a conclusion it is. I never saw it coming. Oh I’m not a complete incompetent I did have some of my suspicions confirmed but figuring it all out...not by a long shot! It is good! One of my favorite aspects of this author’s work is that she frequently brings back many of the characters from the other books and it always works. I don’t know how she keeps track of all the players and their parts and how they seamlessly fit in to the story but she does! It’s not just bit parts. They are all an intrinsic part of the book. It keeps you coming back for more.
Theo is as dreamy as he was in the first book if not more so. We get to see him open up more and really delve into his past. Need to keep that a secret because if I told you more, why read the book?
Zia is just trying to put all the pieces together while keeping both her job and her heart in place.
As if all this wasn’t enough even more drama and intrigue ensue. We also get all the feels. More characters old and new are there to wet our appetite for more. The author dangles the carrot and keeps us coming back for more.
It’s always hard to review the second book in a duet because you don’t want to give away any secrets it’s more about how you feel about the book but I have to tell you Derrick kind of stole my heart and made me laugh. Yes, he has his many issues but who doesn’t and his are multiplied to the 10th power. The author knows how to write characters (and I use that in the comical and endearing way). Her female roles are true powerhouses and bad (again in a good way). They are to be revered.
I read this book straight through in one sitting. I guess you can tell I really enjoyed this story.
SO looking forward to the next installment. Nana you make it harder and harder to top yourself but you always seem to manage it. This time is no different!

This book was everything I wanted it to be and more. Theo continued being amazing. Zia continued being a bad***. And of course in true Nana Malone fashion, there were lots of new characters to peak my interest. One of them even turned out to be surprisingly likeable.
I absolutely love Team Winston Isles and I don’t ever want the adventures with them to end. I love the suspense and action and surprises I always get in these books. I never know what to expect going in and once it’s over I’m just in awe. This ending was definitely another jaw dropper.
Nana Malone continues to give me books to rave about. This is just the newest in the line.

The Billionaire's secret is the second book in the series. It cannot be read stand alone as the book is in continuation of Bodyguard to the billionaire. You will have to read the first book to understand this book. I have to say this again that Nana Malone is a Great Author.
What I read was just Beyond Amazingness.
The story starts when Zia Barnes, the bodyguard, found Theo and Derrick on the beach together where Theo is trying to make Derrick alive and unfortunately there so-called "Arrangement" was known to everybody. Their Arrangement was open to everybody including the king Sebastian and the queen. However, everybody did support them, as they wanted to know who kidnapped Derrick and who was blackmailing Theo. The old group Became one again.
Everybody was in a Great Confusion that what is to be done now or what should be the next step. (Oh and Derrick, He ran away again :-/ ) But Zia, She was in a major confusion of her own. She loved Theo but now she is not so sure, After all, he lied to her and not just a small lie, It was a full-on Identity Change Lie. She did not accept it. She felt betrayed. Even when she thought about him, she still thinks that the thing between them was even true or not. It could be just another lie of him.
Many things going on in Theo's life as well and he doesn't know how to face them. On one side there's Zia who is not acknowledging his love. (Well that's his fault) and on the other side, he doesn't who is doing all these things. Its more like his life is just a complete mess. He just needs to find the answers. That's all.
Okay, So the Character, GREAT! The Plot, GREAT! The whole story- Definition of MINDBLOWING.
I don't know what to say, I mean I am just speechless. After reading The billionaire's secret I was like what will happen next? What will be the conclusion? who will be the culprit? Till the end, you won't be able to guess who is the Culprit. This book will make you so hooked up that you will forget everything.
Nana Malone is a Great Author and this surely is one of her masterpieces.
If you are a sucker of Romance with a major twist of thriller and suspense then you definitely should read this book. You guys should read this it will give you goosebumps.

Main characters: Zia Barnes, Royal Guard and bodyguard to the rich and powerful. Theo Coleman, philanthropic businessman who’s been inveigled into playing stand-in to a member of the Royal household.
Why you should read it: Bodyguard to the Billionaire ended on one heck of a cliff-hanger and so if you've read it, you'll be desperate to find out what happens next. Zia and Theo have grown closer and closer despite the secrets between them, but now the situation has come to a head, with the appearance of the real Derrick Arlington. With Zia feeling betrayed, Theo has a lot of work to do in order to win her back. As always, I enjoyed the dialogue and the banter and the inclusion of the peripheral characters. This story wasn't just a romance, it was also a story about love (all kinds) and family. I found it quite touching in places, and I certainly didn't see the twist coming. The romance between Zia and Theo didn't feel rushed and I certainly enjoyed the steady build of heat, the intrigue and the humour of the book.
What you may not like: Not much to dislike, in my view. The ending was perhaps a little abrupt, opening up the way for more books in this setting, but that's it really. The characters were well rounded, the humour was lively and punchy and the romance was slow-burning. So, like I said, not much to dislike. I will say that Penny the Queen was a bit annoying in this particular book - wanting to be in the thick of the action while 7 months pregnant with the heir to the kingdom. Okaaay.
Rating: 4/5 for a truly enjoyable read that made me smile and kept my interest throughout the story. I never want tales from the Winston Isles to end!

Oh my gosh I love this series so much

The Billionaire’s Secret starts where book one (Bodyguard to the Billionaire) left us and wow, what a treat.
Theo is still as amazing as he was in the first but in this one, he goes through so much more and has to wrap his head around everything. Once they uncover what is actually going on it’s mind blowing and heartbreaking and I feel so much for him.
Zia is still as badass as always. The only thing that got to me with her in this one is the fact that she kept going against everything she had been trained to do and undermine herself and her work just to bone, it irked me because she’s an amazing woman and excels at her job but even through that I loved her. She’s amazing.
Watching these two after the aftermath was intriguing, I’ve been rooting for these two since the first spark of chemistry and damn, their chemistry is insanely hot.
Nana Malone is hands down my favourite writer of royals. I’m so in love with all of these beauties from the Winston Isles and can never get enough.
The Billionaires Secret was a great conclusion of this series and I’m so excited to see where they go next.
It was intense and sexy and it’ll keep you hooked from book one all the way through to the end of book two and still leave you wanting more.

Yes Yes and Yes this was a great conclusion to the story. Theo was the sweetest man so kind and always putting others first. There was nothing not to love about him. It also didn’t hurt that he was as hot as a habanero pepper. Zia annoyed me at times with her inability to learn from her mistakes but I get it. When love is involved you don’t always think straight. Derrick was like mold after awhile he grows on you😄. Actually Derrick was the classic example of what an adult looks like who as a child had no one to show him or give him love unconditionally. At his core he was a decent person. He just needed someone to show him that he mattered. In the end everyone got what they deserved. This book gave me exactly what I expected from a Nana Malone book. It gave me a suspenseful who done it ride along with some nice sexy time. Throw in some humor, fantastic characters, a pinch of annoyance, some heroes, villains, and some kick ass females and you have a recipe for an outstanding book. As usual it always great to have Team Winston Isles in the mix. I’m not trying to rush or anything Nana (yes I am ) but I’m ready for my next royal adventure. Until next time y’all happy reading.

Nana has fast become a one click author for me. This sequel has left me squealing with delight and needing a manicure after i have bitten off all my nails from anxiety.
No this is not a bad thing , especially when books transport you into their world and leave you feeling satisfied as all your questions are answered.
Theo and Zia's story pick ups where book one left off and you are automatically thrown into the web of angst and mystery needing to know who is after Theo and Derrick. You must read book 1 to understand this story and i highly recommend this story.
Theo and Zia's chemistry is so hot, your clothing will need to be changed several times. TMI!!! I don't think so because these two love-bugs don't know what is going to hit them when they are thrown into more lies and deceit. Will they try and salvage the damage already done or will they run away from each other. I guess you need to read this thrilling story to find out.

In my opinion this was a great read. There were Royals, strong women, humor and a lot of love. In my opinion Nana Malone did a really good job of hiding the villain. I had my suspicions but wasn't sure till the end. I give Nana Malone a well done on that, usually I do a good job of figuring out the villain. Not this time. I have to say I was surprised and I wasn't surprised. I really liked Theo he was an all around good guy, I appreciated him putting everything before himself. I loved Zia's tough as nails attitude and yet realizing sometimes she needs help. In my opinion Theo and Zia are a perfect match. It was fun getting to seem some of the previous royals, there is always some fun with them. I also have to say, some parts of the story did bring tears to my eyes, this doesn't happen all the time. Yes I'm a Nana Malone fan, but I really did have a lot of fun with this series. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader's copy.

This is such a fantastic book. I loved staying on edge. Who wants to harm Theo and or Derrick? They look so alike, they could be twins. Why does Derrick’s Dad seem to hate him? Loved how hard Theo and Zia fell for each other. They are so good together, Derrick wants someone like her now. Didn’t expect to cry but I did towards the end. We do get a very happy ever after but it does look like there could be more to this series, I can’t wait. I voluntarily read an advanced readers copy and I highly recommend this book.

Gotta say, this is probably in my top 3 fav duets of this series!
I simply loved Theo. Seemed organic and real.
I ended up loving Derrick too!!!
And Zia + Theo is magic!
I love the set up for the future of the series!

I had been waiting for the second book from Nana Malone’s Royal Elite Billionaire Duet, The Billionaire’s Secret. Malone left us on quite the cliffhanger with the first book, and I was anxious to find out how it was resolved.
And resolve it she did.
Interestingly enough, Malone began the resolution fairly quickly in the story, although the big reveal, offering up the person responsible for trying to kill Theo and harm Derrick, doesn’t come until almost the end of the book. Getting there, however, can sometimes be tedious in this new offering. There are parts of this book that I liked, namely the characters and the romance between Zia and Theo, and there were parts of the book that I think could have done with more editing. Here are my general impressions:
*If you love romantic suspense, then you should read this book. As I stated above, the reveal of the villains comes late in the book, so you have plenty of time to bask in the developing romance of Theo and Zia. You also get little updates on characters’ lives from the other books in the Royal Elite family.
Theo is my favorite character in this book. While he fights his attraction to Zia, there is something stalwart about him that impresses upon the reader. He cares about other people in a way that Derrick doesn’t, and, given his background, you want a happy ending for him,
*Zia represents strong women, and it’s admirable here. However, she frustrated me more than Theo because her reasons for distancing herself from him, even after his “betrayal,” don’t make sense in her position. She should have had a greater understanding of Theo’s motivations. Thankfully, she doesn’t waste much of the story on keeping her distance. However, it was frustrating nonetheless.
*One of the downfalls of the book is the shifting point of view. The first book is a dual POV book moving between Theo and Zia. For this book, I think Malone wants to offer up other characters’ perspectives on the story. In doing so, it brings in too many spoons to stir the pot. I understand her thinking behind it. It read as tedious to me. I love a dual POV book, and I think we could have understood the story if we only had Zia and Theo’s perspectives. Malone might have incorporated the other POVs in the epilogue, or I am hoping that Derrick will find his own story in a separate book.
This story is definitely entertaining, and it keeps the reader engaged in the story. As I was reading it, though, it felt like it dragged at times, and I wondered if it could have been revised to be a tighter story. In the world of romance, Malone’s The Billionaire’s Secret provides us with everything we love: billionaire romances, fiery women, secrets, and suspense. If those are your favorite tropes, then you will definitely want to read this book.

This is the surprising conclusion to the Billionaire’s Duet! Read book one, Bodyguard to the Billionaire first. Full of intricate details, but also love-and not just romantic love, but things that keep your faith in humanity. Family, friends, and crazy antics of a royal family and their bodyguards!
The secret is out! When we left book one, a big discovery had been made that was going to change a lot of things for our main characters. And while the “big” secret is out, there are still so many secrets being kept that keep the plot moving and our characters in and out of trouble.
Zia has a problem...there are two of them! Theo and Derrick, look alikes. Who is she supposed to protect? And who did she fall in love with? When the truth eventually comes out, she has to deal with some crazy fall out. She was strong in the face of all of the absolute crazy situations she was placed in. And Theo and Derrick make some big discoveries and changes. Each unique and likeable as individuals. As the story progresses, their relationship is made stronger through some amazing situations.
Zia and Theo have the same continued chemistry from book one. But it’s made stronger and more real through the tragedies and situations they face, and their reactions to them. Their chemistry grows stronger as their love grows. I think most of my favorite moments in this book come from things Theo says as he finds his way to loving his Zia in all her bodyguarding strengths and heroics.
The convoluted and twisted crazy plot twists this book held kept me pretty captivated. The whole stand in for someone who is your body double left me with so many questions from book one. And I love Arial’s amazing Elite Royal agency; her employees are all the best combination of strong and loyal and human and flawed. And through it all we get to see past character’s and the family they make.
Now I need to know Derrick’s story, and Tasmin’s, and follow this plot twist in the last chapter! If you’ve been sucked in by the previous duets, this one will not disappoint. My biggest complaint is having to wait for the second book-I’d prefer one big book to wrap it all up at once!

The secret is out! When we left book one, a big discovery had been made that was going to change a lot of things for our main characters. And while the “big” secret is out, there are still so many secrets being kept that keep the plot moving and our characters in and out of trouble.
Zia has a problem...there are two of them! Theo and Derrick, look alikes. Who is she supposed to protect? And who did she fall in love with? When the truth eventually comes out, she has to deal with some crazy fall out. She was strong in the face of all of the absolute crazy situations she was placed in. And Theo and Derrick make some big discoveries and changes. Each unique and likeable as individuals. As the story progresses, their relationship is made stronger through some amazing situations.
Zia and Theo have the same continued chemistry from book one. But it’s made stronger and more real through the tragedies and situations they face, and their reactions to them. Their chemistry grows stronger as their love grows. At the end of the first book, all of Theo’s secrets were discovered and poor Zia was struck by a metaphysical train.
“Oh, trust me. I hear you. And you’re right. You are absolutely right. I need to be more careful. I really can’t trust myself. Theo might have all kinds of things to tell me, but it would be better if I stay away from him. Even if I wanted to listen. Even if I wanted to believe him. It would be better for everyone if I kept my distance. Especially me.”
How would anyone act if they discovered a secret so old, it pre-dated their birth? I can honestly say I just do not know how I would handle such a discovery.
All throughout this duet, Theo has had a plan, one he planned to stick to even when he had squishy warm feelings for Zia. Anyone who’s been in the possession of such emotions will tell you that squishy, squashy feelings trump any plans. As the old saying goes ‘Life is what happens when you’re making plans.’
Zia and Theo were an instant hit together on-page. I can honestly say I haven’t felt such an impact since Penny and Sebastian got together. Speaking of the King and Queen; getting to re-visit them and the lives was a real blast from the past. Penny has grown so much in the interim time between Royals Undercover and this newest book release.
This author is spectacular at creating villainous characters. However, I have never quite experienced a character such as Derrick before. Silver spooned pacifier comes to mind. The man was a total doughnut for most of the duet. How he thought he could get away with what he was doing was beyond me.
The romance between Theo and Zia was hot and heavy. Push me, pull me. I was never sure which way to turn with them.
I’ve stated numerous times how much of a fan I am of Team Winston Isles. Team WI is constantly expanding and that’s a good thing. To still see and experience returning characters and their personalities always leaves me with a smile. Thank you, Ms. Malone. I will always be in awe of what you pull off in your books.

I know I have said it before. I hate cliffhangers. Try to avoid them at all costs. With this series and this duet, once again, Nana Malone has me HOOKED!
This is NOT a standalone. At minimum, you have to read book one, "Bodyguard to the Billionaire". This writer brings in a number of characters from previous books, which is great because you get to revisit the couples. After reading this duet, I think you may want to next read Sebastian and Penny's story, "Cheeky Royal".
I didn't think it was possible to like Derrick based on book 1, but I was so wrong. Theo and Zia were a good couple. They were an easy pair to like. Theo had many redeeming qualities while Derrick had none. Until this book.
I felt badly for Derrick and wanted him to find his "Zia". He had a bit of suffering to do first. Then I was hit with a new cliffhanger. No worries. Theo and Zia get their HEA. Some mysteries are resolved. New mysteries are created.
The fun thing about these books is when I think I know what is going to happen next and I am hit with a surprise from completely out of left field. This writer keeps me on my toes.

I could not wait for the second part of this story to unfold. In the first book, Theo was paid by Derrick Arlington to pretend to be him for 30 days as he looked just like him (hmmm, wonder why?). He goes to the Winston Isles and all of a sudden he hears nothing from Derrick so he is flying blind with the business to run as well as relationships. He is attacked and Zia helps him and ultimately becomes his bodyguard. He didn't mean to fall for her. She didn't mean to fall for him. And then at the end of Book 1, his secret is revealed.
Book 2: She feels betrayed. Did Theo just play her while playing the role of Derrick? Who is Theo - really? And did he really mean anything he said about Zia while playing the role of Derrick?
This is a great second book with a lot of surprises. While Derricks father is not a very nice person, did he do the things Derrick blamed him for through the years? How did Derrick find Theo and what is their bond? Does the only person you think cares for you REALLY care for you? Who is really behind all of the issues? I received a new Advanced Reader Copy of this book and am voluntarily reviewing it. This book wraps up Theo and Zia’s story beautifully. That’s what I love about this author. She knows how to tell a story. As you know, this is the second book in this series. The first book ended with us finally meeting Derrick. Thankfully, this book gives readers several points of view which made for a very well-rounded story. There is some serious hotness as sparks continue to fly between Zia and Theo but with Derrick in the mix, things get difficult fast.
This book also gives you small updates on the rest of the Winston Isles team, particularly, King Sebastian and a very pregnant Queen Penny. Please remember that nothing can keep the badass women of Team Winston Isles down, not even pregnancy. I love how badass the women are in all of Nana’s books and this one is no exception.
The plot twists will leave you hanging on the edge and reading when you should be doing something else. A great author has done it again. I hope to read more about the Winston Isles crew particularly Tamsin and Trace, hint hint.

The first book, Bodyguard to the Billionaire, presented the growing relationship between our bodyguard heroine, Zia, and her "protectee" Hero, Theo, although she thought it was, who we now know, his twin brother, Derrick. This book, continues where the last one left off, with Zia reeling from the realization that Theo has been lying to her this entire time. Their romance takes a side seat in this book because they're trying to uncover who and why someone is trying to kidnap and hurt both of them, and how that someone knows the other twin exists since each of them only found out recently. Neither Derrick or Theo can figure out why their father loathes both of them, nor his reasons for separating them at birth. As each of them digs deeper, more questions surface which covers the first 80% of the book. Throughout this book, we get to revisit with the entire Winston Isles team since their cousin, Sebastian and his queen Penny, and all the King's Knights work together to seek out answers. Although all the loose ends are tied up at the end, the way it played out seemed too easy and a bit rushed.

A captivating cast of characters and a perfect ending to a well written duet.
I'm not a huge fan of billionaires and the elite since I can't relate to their life styles but Nana Malone makes it work so fluently.
In this second part Theo has taken Derrick's place and things are getting interesting.
Abduction, lies, love and family makes this a fun and touching read.
I was surprised that I liked Derrick so much. After learning more about him I understand why I found drawn to him.
Zia was a character that is strong, determined and had a lot to offer others as well as the relationship she and Theo embarked on. All the characters have great personalities and this crazy family made for a fantastic read. And the ending? It was better than I hoped for and do we see more regarding this family in future books? We can only hope.
If you've never read a book by Nana Malone before this is a great Duet to intorduce yourself to her work. If you have already had the pleasure you definitley don't want to miss these books.

The Billionaire's Secret is the on going series of the Team Winston Isle, you just have to love all the craziness and debauchery that whole crew of the Royal family and King's Knights get into when someone is trying to kill them.
There were so many secrets uncovered that it was like one bomb right after the other. Zia and Theo's story was good but my favorite in this book was Derrick, Derrick really stole the show in this installment and I want to see where Nana takes his story line in this series. He really did shine and show us another side to him that we were not privy to in the beginning.
I always love the updates that we read regarding the royal family and I am patiently waiting to see what Nana has in store for Sebastian and Penny, because if this duet gave us any inclination of how protective Sebastian is who knows how he'll be once the new royal addition comes.
It's never a dull moment when reading this series and as the Team grows so does my anticipation to what Nana has in store for us.

FINALLY getting the finale to this duet! Picking up right where the previous book left off, the secret of Theo and Derrick are finally revealed to everyone involved and there is a range of emotions as a response, especially from Zia. With her past and finally letting Theo break down her walls, she feels betrayed and no longer trusts him even though she loves him. The bulk of this storyline is figuring out not only who knows about Theo and Derrick’s relation to each other, but also who has been trying to kill the pair. We see a lot of teamwork and the friendship between the royal guards in this book, and get all the answers we need from questions starting in the first book. Overall, I loved not only this series but also this book and feel that the author has provided a perfect ending. Nana provided a twist on a standard storyline and spun it where it was one of the most enjoyable suspenseful romance books I’ve read. I can’t wait to see if Nana continues with this group of characters, especially with Derrick!

I am not sure which of the Winston Isles residences I love more or which of the characters from the several books. I do find that I am very much in love with the sexy twins. They are all that and some plus maybe a little bit more.
Getting down to what was really going on with Theo was a story all to itself. His connection or lack of to the royal family. His connection or lack of to the billionaire. The whole cliffhanger from book one flowed in to book two. I cheated because I went back and re-read book one the day before I began book two. I wanted everything to be fresh in my mind and run with it.
I loved Zia and Theo, but you know the truth always comes out when you least expect it. There was nothing different this time around. Zia was rightfully so upset. I think she handle things as well as should have been expected.

Wow, what a fun, twisty, steamy conclusion to the Billionaire Duet series! This second book in Theo and Zia's story was an exciting journey that had several twists and turns that were so unexpected. This story picks up where Bodyguard to the Billionaire left off. I love this identity switch plot and the suspense of abductions, and secrets, along with the unconditional love and support of family and friends. Theo and his identical twin Derrick are hysterical and the position that puts Zia in is priceless. The politics of the royals is hard to keep straight at times but the fun banter between all the royals and the gang from Royal Elite keep it fast paced, fun, steamy and breathtaking. I love the great humor and banter that Malone does so well and how she includes all the royal friends and family we've grown to love and are always so essential in each story. This was a fun, exciting, steamy conclusion to this duet and I can't wait for more from the Royal Elite!

The Billionaire’s Secret is the perfect conclusion to the Billionaire’s Duet. I loved Theo and Zia in book one and this is a continuation of their story. Derrick, however, is the character in book two that we have the chance to find more about. I feel bad for all he has had to go through and all he has missed out on in his life and I hope he finally gets his own story and finds his happily ever after.
Just like book one, this book is also full of intrigue that will keep you hanging onto the edge of your seat and an action packed storyline where the players are constantly moving as no one is privy to the full game that is in play. After book one we knew there were secrets being kept, but now as all those secrets unravel we finally find out who the culprit creating havoc over this family for so many years is.

When book 1 ended, the bodyguards watching Derrick Arlington find that there are 2 of them. Derrick has been in hiding (he was actaully kidnapped) and his twin brother Theo has been impersonating him.
Now both twins seem to be in danger and no one can decide who is behind the dangerous plot.
As usal, Nana Malone's beautiful bodyguards manage to mix business and pleasure and find true love while on the job.

Such a great conclusion! This story has everything, surprise sibling, mystery, danger, espionage, intrigue, and a piping hot couple (Zia and Theo) on an unforgettable adventure to see it through. I love this author's style, there is a whole series of books now with the main characters prominent in other stories as well. You don't have to read about the other couples to understand this one, but you do need to read the first book of this duet. I promise you though after reading Theo and Zia's story you will want to know the rest of the royal family and the security team. A great couple and a hot fun story to get caught up in!
