Nissan NV300 Energy Roam Woodworking Van

Okay, so cargo vans are about as sexy as, well, cargo vans. But the key is to embrace their utility, and that’s what this modified Nissan NV300 van does by operating as a mobile woodworking shop. The brilliant Energy Roam Woodworking Van is a collaboration between the Japanese automaker and Studio Hardie to create a woodshop on wheels. It’s outfitted with tool and materials storage, as well as a rail-mounted swivel shop stool that makes for intuitive and fluid work within a limited space. The Energy Roam also has its own brilliant power grid juiced up by repurposed Nissan LEAF electric vehicle batteries that are also portable and waterproof so you can operate tools van-side. What’s more, the batteries are re-chargeable via the solar panels built into the roof that also provide full illumination from the ceiling mounted shop lights. The Energy Roam also has sliding pegboards, door-mounted too racks, a magnetic board for project planning, and deployable workbenches. To top it all off, the exterior is clad with woodshop graphics so mistake it for an Amazon delivery vehicle.
