Olympic figure skater Michelle Kwan recently moved on from her Newport, Rhode Island, home, skating away with $4 million…less fees…in the process.

The two-time Olympic medalist sold her historic 1900s-era mansion in the wake of her 2017 divorce. Kwan and her now ex-husband, Clay Pell, paid $1.5 million for the Palladian-style home in 2014.

The property is set on almost 2 acres inside the Newport Country Club. Kwan originally listed the property for $4.4 million a year ago.

The four-bedroom, six-bath home underwent a number of changes while in Kwan and Pell’s ownership. Originally decked out in ultra-luxe accents like gold leaf, marble, and Italianate statues, the residence now boasts a simpler aesthetic. There are still plenty of luxurious features, though, including a grand foyer, two chandeliers, and tons of original wood and ironwork.

The kitchen also benefitted from an update. Gone are the Formica countertops, and newly present is a modern, neutral color scheme. Style and function continue outside where there are plenty of spaces for entertaining among the fire pit, pond, and swimming pool.

Kwan took home Olympic medals in 1998 and 2002.
