It’s the most wonderful time of the year…for podcasters.

That’s right, Podcast Movement is taking over Philly next week and we can’t wait to see everyone there. The energy last year was incredible and the this year’s conference should be no different as thousands of podcasters and industry influencers gather to share ideas, data, and tricks of the trade.

With so many amazing speakers to listen to and panels to learn from, planning your PM experience can seem daunting. Whether this year will be your first PM or you’re a seasoned pro, here are some tips for making the most of each day and the events we’re looking forward to the most.

To help identify the best events for you, Podcast Movement has broken down the sessions and panels into seven different tracks — Industry, Creation, Monetization, Marketing, Society, Culture, & Advocacy, Technical, and Broadcasters Meets Podcasters. Use these to your advantage! If your goal is to grow your audience, check out the Marketing track. Looking to bring on sponsors? Check out what the Monetization track has in store.

One of our biggest takeaways from last year is that the podcast community is amazingly supportive. Make time for the networking and evening events to bond with your fellow podcasters. You can even check out the unofficial meetups page to find your people. But sometimes the most meaningful conversations happen by chance — don’t over schedule! You never know who you may run into so take advantage of the breaks, roam the hallways, and skip anything that simply doesn’t interest you. For more networking advice check out our 5 best tips.
