Rail freight company DB Cargo launches major recruitment drive

The UK’s largest rail freight firm currently employs around 2,200 employees and is recruiting new train drivers, engineers and groundstaff, to help further improve the services it provides to customers across England, Scotland, Wales and Europe.


Doncaster Sheffield Airport announces direct route to Budapest

Doncaster Sheffield Airport is delighted to announce a new Wizz air flight to Budapest, the new three weekly service will take off with effect from 29th October and comes hot on the heels of a route to Debrecen being announced just weeks ago.

Four endangered bears fly from Japan to start their new lives

Four endangered brown bears have flown 5,000 miles to start a new life in Doncaster. There weren’t any zoos in Japan with capacity to take them, so the Yorkshire Wildlife Park volunteered to give them a home.
