Vancouver-born 33 Acres Brewing Company is nestled in the heart of Calgary’s Beltline neighbourhood and has a gorgeous patio to watch all the action. The patio is full of picnic tables where you can enjoy the brewery’s hoppy beverages (most of which can be ordered in giant 24-ounce glasses if you want) and there’s even a wood-burning fireplace to gather around when the weather gets a little cloudy.

The patio at Citizen is a great place to come with an appetite. Located near the community of Tuxedo, the brewery’s two patios overlooking the hops and vegetable gardens seat more than 200 people, allow dogs and sometimes features live music. There’s also a shipping container kitchen that serves one of the better burgers Calgary has to offer. The wide variety of beers here are very palatable for any level of beer enthusiast and are specifically designed to work well with the food.
