BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A new locally grown and brewed beer is hitting the tap at Temblor this Saturday, June 1st. The "On the Fritz" Almond Beer event will take place at Temblor to help raise money for the Future Farmers of America Organization. The event will start at 5 in the evening until closing.

An idea that started back in January by Lucas Schmidt and Dominique Camou became a reality after they pitched it to Temblor Brewing Company. Schmidt and Camou are a part of this years Almond Leadership Program, a year-long agricultural course put on the Almond Board of California, and creating an Almond Beer was their course project.

On Saturday, one dollar of every Almond Beer sold at Temblor will go towards their FFA fundraiser.
