CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WECT) - The Carolina Beach Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect in the attempted robbery of the Hardee's at 254 N. Lake Park Blvd. Thursday night.

According to CBPD officials, a female suspect entered the restaurant and gave an employee a note demanding money shortly after 7:30 p.m.

When the employee left the counter to alert other staff members, the suspect exited the restaurant and fled the scene.

A weapon wasn't displayed during the incident.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call the Carolina Beach Police Department at 910-458-2540 or dial 911.
