They say life is all about taking risks and going outside your comfort zone. When I decided to celebrate my 40th birthday with a boudoir photo shoot with the fine folks at Allebach Photography, I felt like I had opened a portal to a whole new version of myself and completely side stepped the comfort zone! Of course I didn't know what to expect - I prepared with several outfit concepts, hair extensions, and anticipation in the months leading up to my shoot. But as soon as I walked into the studio, I wasn't going to let any of my insecurities hold me back. Rarely do we give ourselves the attention and praise we deserve, especially in a world that asks so much of us every single day. My birthday boudoir shoot was a rewarding treat to myself where I could fully explore my sensuality. Mike and Erica were so encouraging and helpful in providing guidance and assurance. Being able to view my photos after the shoot was the literal "icing on my birthday cake." For the first time in my adult life, I was able to say "I'm beautiful" without any hesitation. As I drove home, I felt empowered in a deep, meaningful way that continues to linger with me. Do yourself a favor and give yourself the gift of boudoir with this crew of massively talented, caring, and creative artists that are Allebach Photography.

This review is wayyyyy overdue. Especially since my couples boudoir photo shoot was done Dec '18. Better late than never, right! Anyway, if you're looking for a boudoir photographer in Montco PA area, Mike Allebach is your guy. Made my man and I super comfy during the entire photo shoot. He was cool enough to play Rihanna's essential playlist per my request. I was definitely vibin' to my girl RiRi playing in the background while me and my man just kind of got into each other and Mike allowed (and helped guide) us to make some magic happen in front of the camera lens. If you're looking to do a boudoir shoot by yourself or with your guy, gal, or polynamorous mates... DO IT! I loved every second of the shoot and the final photo album. Def had me feelin' myself haha! Unlike other studios I have been to, when you walk into Allebach, you are cocooned in a warm feeling of love and joy. I had the pleasure of working with both Mike and Erika over the course of two separate shoots and they allowed me to celebrate my personal beauty (flaws and all) without any pressure to hide any part of myself. Multiple health and injuries left me feeling like an insignificant blob and when my husband mentioned that he may like pictures for our anniversary, I was hesitant. This last session gave me such a personal confidence that I will be forever grateful for over the rest of my life.

If you're looking for a photographer within the Philly area for any type of occasion, Mike is the guy to see! I did a couples boudoir session with Mike and I had never done any kind of modeling photos before. Mike was beyond professional. We did a phone interview prior to the shoot asking some questions about myself to have ideas ready for when we got to the studio.

The studio is inside an industrial warehouse building in North Wales and its such a beautiful setup. There are many props and scenes we were able to do without leaving the studio!

As for Mike himself, the most friendly and kind professional you'll ever meet. He made me feel completely comfortable throughout the whole shoot, to a point that you forgot that he was in the room!

A week or so later, we got to view our photos from the session at the studio in his private theatre and that was an experience in itself.

If there is any kind of upcoming projects that I need a photographer for, Mike will be getting a call from me!

Very classy, beautiful and most of all he makes you fee comfortable. There is no norm on the type of boudoir one does, but whatever you decide Mike will make sure it is done in class and the product is amazing! My husband and I recently had our pictures taken, and the intimacy we had that and experienced us changed our relationship for the best!!!! Just have fun, let your hair down, and let mike do the rest!!!!!

We initially selected Mike Allebach of Allebach Photography to take some photos of us for our 20th anniversary with the thought that we would have a beautiful framed photo as a result. What we envisioned and what we ended up with was literally a million-fold better - and that is not an exaggeration.

Mike spoke with each of us separately prior to the shoot and then we set a time and date for the shoot. Mike suggested the Philadelphia Art Museum during the 'golden hour' at the end of the day. I cannot even begin to tell you what a fantastic time we had with Mike and the actual shoot was an amazing experience full of fun and laughter.

The photos were taken all around the Art Museum and Schuylkill River area and while it was a busy crowded day; Mike managed to frame the shots so it looked as if we were the only one there. Many have asked if we cleared the area for our photoshoot because of Mike's skillful photography.

The resulting images were also amazing and instead of one framed photo, we ended up with a beautiful 6 foot collage of photos printed on metal that is now a prominent art installation in our home. We also ended up choosing fifty (50) - yes, FIFTY - of the images Mike shot that day for our collection.

Mike absolutely did a fantastic job and created amazing works of art out of two ordinary people who have been together for twenty years. Everyone who sees the photos and knows us always says that the photos are "absolutely you guys".

I should mention that we are a gay male couple and Mike was very comfortable with us as we were with him; he is very easy to work with and truly one of the most laid back photographers I have known - and I have known many. I would wholeheartedly recommend Mike Allebach to any straight, gay, trans-gendered or any other flavor of person for any photos they may want from boudoir to personal to professional. He is truly an amazing and gifted artist/photographer.

Absolutely THE best experience I've ever had s I was so nervous about doing my very first boudoir session, Mike and his team made me feel comfortable and confident. SO MUCH FUN! I did an individual boudoir photo session at Allebach last month. The studio and furniture props are beautiful. He knew how to position me and catch the right lighting to capture stunning photographs. My boyfriend and I were able to view the photos together to choose our favorites, and today I went and picked up our album. The album is beautiful and we are so happy with the results. I would highly recommend this experience to any woman or any couple. It's an ego boost and the memories and photos are irreplaceable!

I was so happy with out boudoir session. From the moment I walked in he did everything to make me feel comfortable. I actually wound up having a lot of fun too!! Plus The make up artist (that was included in the package) was amazing!

He also had a quick turn around with the pictures and I was very happy with every one of them!!

I worked with Mike on a photoshoot for a calendar raising awareness for ovarian cancer released by Inked Philly. His images are beautiful, I cannot wait to work with him again!
