Bank of Canada maintains overnight rate, Prime will remain at 3.70%
Great news for all the variable rate mortgage holders. The Bank of Canada announced this morning that they will not raise the overnight rate which means Prime will remain at 3.70%. You can start your happy dance now.
The next scheduled date for announcing the overnight rate target is October 24th, 2018.
