A finishing barn in Perth County has contracted Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea virus.
It is the 116th case in the province since the disease first arrived in Ontario in January, 2014.
Most hogs in a finishing barn can survive the virus, but it’s deadly for newborn piglets.
